佐利克談中西合璧“聯合研究報告”的來龍去脈

            “世界銀行”與“中國國務院發展研究中心”同心協力，里應外合，并肩戰斗，共同對敵，終于產生了一個偉大的中西合璧的 “聯合研究報告”。其來龍去脈究竟怎么回事？雖說如今開放了，成了“信息世界”、“新聞自由”了，但現有的中文報道都很有點語焉不詳。　　 

    倒是世界銀行行長佐利克2012年2月27日的講話披露了不少實情。可惜世界銀行的網站只刊登了佐利克講話的英文稿，沒有給出中文譯文。本人沒功夫全文翻譯，只摘幾句話附上譯文，再補充點背景材料，讓大家看看人家的原話，然后自己評價。

    ——It’s a great pleasure to be here today to present the “China 2030 Report.”

 

    （非常榮幸今天在此呈上本報告：“2030年的中國”。 　　

 

    ——The idea for this study was conceived eighteen months ago, when I met with Executive Vice Premier Li Keqiang at the time of the 30th anniversary of the partnership between China and the World Bank.　　

 

    （這一研究的設想始于18個月前、我為紀念中國和世界銀行合作30年和李克強副總理的會晤。）　　

 

    ——Vice Premier Li endorsed a proposal that we work together on identifying and analyzing China’s medium-term development challenges, looking forward to 2030.President Hu Jintao and Vice President Xi Jinping welcomed the proposal.　　

 

    （李克強副總理批準了一項由我們共同合作以確定并分析中國展望到2030年期間面臨的發展中的挑戰的建議。胡錦濤主席和習近平副主席贊同了這個建議。）

 

    ——So I’d like to thank Vice Premier Li for his unwavering commitment to this project.
